As I reflect on my work from last year, I notice I’ve really grown as an artist and my art has somewhat matured. This year i’ve really learned to create my OWN art and make it reflect who I am as an artist. For a pottery project, I made a skull and made it as detailed as possible by adding acrylic paint instead of glaze, then further creating a jeweled crown with hot glue and gems. With the blind contour I learned, that you learn basic shapes and to really take your time and focus on the muse or object of what you’re drawing. As we go through the different subjects I learn, what I love to draw and continue to grow.
