The landscapeCredit line for Image Julia Bradford Huntington James Fund I hear the wind whistling and the rumble of the thunder and the stillness of the mountains being cemented and weighed down of absolute stillness. I smell the damp ground and rock of the musky and harsh air and the freshness of still water settling in the nearby stream I need the sun and the heat of brightness I am going to look upon the mountains to guide to a better view I feel dull in black and white no character and no boldness to it I want the fog to rise and color to abrupt from the painted sky Dear Friend, I am writing to you from The Qing Dynasty, it's dull in here it's subtle and quiet. I want to escape to something brighter and better please erase me and cut me out to a better view a better place. PortraitName- Clarissa Bartlett Porter

My landscape is acrylic paint. I originally had a high pigmented sky that was a bright turquoise but I had a hard time finding a matching color so improvised and made the sky darker and made the foreground brighter than it was in the original picture. One of my problems i was facing was the texture of the bushes in leaves and the dimensions. So solve this issues instead of using brush strokes i bounced and padded my brush to make it look bushy and full. I think if I make another landscape with acrylic paint I will try ore textures and more detail and different color palettes.
